Aaron is a dedicated mental health professional with a diverse academic and professional background. He holds a Master's in Public Management from Indiana University at Indianapolis and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Christian Theological Seminary. His diverse background affords him the ability to approach therapy creatively. Aaron incorporates his life and professional experience into his therapy practice.
Professionally, Aaron has successfully navigated public, non-profit, and for-profit spaces. Aaron has an extensive background working with those in crisis and crisis communication, which is handy when working with clients who face changes professionally. With his nearly twenty-year career in the criminal justice system, he brings a unique perspective to compassion and understanding stories. He aspires to journey with people through life.
Aaron's therapeutic interests are grief, trauma, anger, anxiety, self-esteem, PTSD, men's issues, adoption, couples, complex systems, and groups. Aaron primarily works with adults, young adults, & teens. Aaron uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Structural Family Therapy (SFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
